I have been taking photos as long as I can remember and really can't see myself enjoying a job that isn't involving design in one form or another. Believe me.. I've tried other jobs - I was a jet mechanic (crew chief) on heavy planes in the Air force for a few years, played barista for a few years while I was in school for photography, worked for a video game company - running all kinds of different projects, did project management for an ad agency.

Now, I spend my time learning from and being inspired by other photographers, graphic designers, video makers, even musicians. Ever "hear" a texture? listen closer.

During my time off (what is that?) I like to play with my project car - a 69 VW fastback that has been darkening my garage for about 3 years and still hasn't gone anywhere. I use it as a reason to hang out in the garage and drink beer. I believe I"'ve acutally spent more time taking pictures of the car than I have restoring it.
